I just wanted to offer some direct positive feedback on Beechdown and the staff.

The people you have at Beechdown are amazing.

Reception staff are always welcoming and helpful, same for the Brasserie staff.

The Gym team are really on their game, clearly knowledgeable, attentive and thoughtful, but also approachable and helpful with a smile. Shout-out for Grace in tailoring my workouts to accommodate an injury.

Praise too for the maintenance staff who keep it all working, tackling the constant wear and tear on the venue. Oh and the DJ/music chooser, now there's a job that's easy to criticize but can I offer a hats off to their varied and interesting selections.

Beechdown has become my new happy place, thanks to you and the team for making it special.

Thank you for putting pickleball on for kids.

Daniel really enjoyed it this morning and the instructor is very enthusiastic. 🙂

He will continue with pickleball.

Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed watching the football at Beechdown on Weds (bar the result). I’ve been reluctant to view BD as a football destination, but all the TVs were working and in sync, the commentary volume was nice and clear and the atmosphere was great.

Ryan and Gracey were excellent too. They kept the beer flowing and the tables clear, often checking in on us. Really appreciated this.

Ian, I just wanted to say you have a fabulous club, and its full of amazing people who work so hard to make it the incredible success it is today. From the front of house team guys like Katie, Lucy, Sammi, Mel, Jo, Carol + anyone I've missed. The gym team of Tanya, Sarah, Beth, Matt, Archie, Freya etc. Truly incredible class teachers like Anneke, who is a brilliant technician of her craft in Pilates, and Neil, who's Pump is consistently top drawer, and Beth, Sarah & Tanya who's spin (and Spinathons) is brilliant. All the Brasserie & cleaning staff. You have a brilliant bunch of people who make this place what it is, and of that you should be incredibly proud.

I wanted to send this email to commend your employee Freya. She hasn’t done one specific thing to warrant this but since she started working at Beechdown, it has been an absolute pleasure to watch her confidence grow and grow and grow. Freya has gone from strength to strength before our eyes, learning to teach classes and work with all types of people.

Taking over the busy Sunday spin class which had a strong following because of the instructor, is never an easy thing but she’s made it hers, not tried to copy what went before and has maintained great numbers and brought new faces and her own followers.

There is no doubt she has an amazing team behind her that she has learned from and have encouraged along the way but ultimately, her amazing progress is of her own doing and during the spin class today I was reflecting on what an fantastic and professional instructor she has become. She takes care to plan, think about who she’s teaching, listens to the class, deals with issues constructively and really cares about her image as a Beechdown instructor.

I hope this email brings a smile to your team today, you should be very proud of who you have on board, that goes for everyone but an extra special thank you to Freya, simply for being her.
