Poolside, you’ll find warm loungers, a jacuzzi, eucalyptus steam room and laconium sauna, creating plenty of ways to unwind before or after your swim. Whether you’re swimming for fitness, enjoying time with family or simply taking a moment to relax, Beechdown offers the ideal balance of high-quality facilities and tranquil surroundings.
Timetable for Family Swimming in Basingstoke
Weekdays – 11:00 – 12:30, 15:30-17:30
Weekends 9:00 – 10:00, 12:00-16:00
Additionally over 11's may lane swim with an adult between 17:30-18:30 weekday evenings and 8:00-9:00 Saturdays.
Parents MUST supervise under 16-year-olds in the pool hall at ALL times.

Family Swim Sessions
We offer specific swim times for families and adults only alike so that everyone can enjoy our Basingstoke pool, whether you’re a lane swimmer or a family wanting a fun splash, and these times are kept the same all year round. During weekends and school holidays we also have fun and float sessions for kids to enjoy the pool and build up their confidence in the water.
Aqua Classes
Water based activity is gentle on joints and muscles and the buoyancy support from the water helps with balance and flexibility. It’s a form of exercise that’s suitable for everyone. We offer a selection of aqua classes every weekday. Choose from Aqua Zumba or Aqua Fit – both a great way to increase your fitness with no harsh impact on your joints.
Jacuzzi
The warm water in our poolside jacuzzi is perfect for a post workout therapy or simply to relax and wash away the stresses of daily life. The buoyancy of the water reduces weight-bearing stress on joints and muscles, and at the same time the heat helps stimulate blood flow. A warm, relaxing sanctuary that can help relieve sore muscles and ease joint pain.
